Keep your pool and spa healthy and clean!
Todd Utter started "Sharky’s" back in 2007 during his College Football days, when pool service work filled his 'days off' during
summer camps. Over the years he's worked for various pool and plaster companies, doing new start-ups, pool service,
and helping keep their maintenance routes covered during peak season.
After 15 years in the pool plaster and service industry, he has decided its high time he got out on his own!
Other Pool Services charge you an average of $10 a minute. A typical Service Tech has 20 stops a day and no room to negotiate. At Sharky’s we don’t have a daily quota. We will never abandoned the job and call for reinforcements. When we leave, were comfortable with the final results!
Every pool is different so clear and frequent communication is key, from your service request to completed project. After each visit our smart app will let you know which services were performed, what chemicals were added. We'll also include pictures and offer tips for keeping your pool or spa in tip top shape between visits.
We won’t find you a spot on our calendar a month out! We don't have a 'waiting list'. We will do our best to get to you ASAP!
At Sharky’s there are NO contracts or Pre-Paid Monthly Service fees. We will be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
We take continued education courses covering
the latest innovations in the pool industry.

Phosphates are organic material that find the way to the pool area. From leaves, spring and fall yard fertilizers, to grass clippings form your landscaping service. Phosphates are a food source for all sorts of algae.
Calcium crystals form white nodules. This usually starts on sun shelfs, steps or benches and works its way to pool walls. Its important to keep fresh pool water balanced with new plaster, and brush daily!
Salt cell’s generally will not produce sanitizer in pool water temperatures 40 degrees or lower. On that first spring day when the outside air is 80 degrees and your pool temperature climbs to 55 degrees, you should see a residual sanitizer level. You should always check your salt levels in the spring before adding more salt. Salt is a mineral and will damage your pool plaster. Do not rely on your automation output! If you have a vinyl liner, a sanitizer level over 10 ppm will start to bleach out your vinyl color. Pool water should not taste like salt.
